Since we left in November we have foolishly neglected the cleaning of any part of our deck, in part because we know it will just get dirty again, because keeping anything clean with a dog on board is tricky, and then now that we are in the Dominican Republic we don't want to have buy water. We are finally at a dock and water is included in our monthly fee, so our Dominican friend Willy has been working to get some of our cleaning jobs done. In the past week he has pressure washed the boat, sanded the teak and then applied 3 coats of oil, washed the sun shades and washed and stored our enclosure! Thank you Willy! Now I don't have to do some of those not so fun cleaning jobs, and the boat is starting to look fresh again!
